UCSF and UC Merced open new CIRM-funded research buildings

In February, UCSF and UC Merced unveiled new stem cell research buildings that were funded in part by CIRM's Major Facilities grant awards. With these openings, eight of the twelve Major Facilities grant recipients currently have buildings up and running. The remaining four facilities are under construction and all but one is expected to open its doors this year.

New research resources for CIRM grant recipients

In February, CIRM posted links to several directories of California companies in the Regenerative Medicine field. The directory categories include therapy development, R&D support, GMP manufactering, and Banks/Registries. We encourage our CIRM grantees to explore these new resources. Links to the "List of California Regenerative Medicine Companies" can be found on the CIRM Research Resources page.
