Legislative Subcommittee

Membership of Subcommitte: 9 to 14 ICOC Members

Mission Statement

The Legislative Subcommittee has a dual role – making policy recommendations in anticipation of legislation and reviewing proposed state and federal legislation and major public policy issues relating to stem cell research and the operations of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine. The subcommittee shall make recommendations to the Independent Citizens Oversight Committee on positions on policies and legislation that will be considered by the board at regular ICOC meetings. The Legislative Subcommittee shall make regular reports back to the ICOC, as appropriate. The subcommittee shall advise the ICOC on new and emerging public policy issues.
