Summary of CIRM rounds of funding

CIRM Rounds of Funding

CIRM carefully tracks funds spent on each round of funding. The table below shows the following values for each round of funding:

  • ICOC approved funds: The funding level approved by the governing board. This is the value that is originally reported in the press release and in the award summary.
  • Actual awarded funds: The current total expected funding for the award, reflecting budget review by CIRM and any adjustments made during the course of the award.
  • Funds dispersed to-date: The actual funds dispersed to-date for each round of funding. Many awards span multiple years, and funds are given out throughout period of the award.
