Let It Grow: High School Stem Researchers, City of Hope

Through the support of CIRM’s Creativity Awards grant, high school students across California spent their summer getting hands-on experience doing stem cell research at nine universities in the state. As part of their internship, students submitted videos, blogs and instagram photos about their time in the lab.

This video, which won this summer’s video contest, was produced by student interns at the City of Hope in Duarte, CA.

Over the course of the three-year CIRM Creativity Awards program, our agency will have supported 220 high school students in stem cell research internships.
