Injectable pro-regenerative scaffold for treating symptomatic peripheral artery disease

This short review covers a new strategy for regenerative medicine using biomaterials scaffolds. Biomaterial scaffolds can be used to promote tissue repair and regeneration on their own without the need for delivering expensive cells or other therapeutics. This strategy is emerging as a potentially powerful paradigm for regenerative medicine with several examples reaching patients.
