Funding Opportunities

Areas of Funding and Research

Currently, CIRM is not accepting new applications for any existing Clinical (CLIN), Translational (TRAN), Education (EDUC), or Infrastructure (INFR) opportunities. However, CIRM will accept applications responding to the Foundation Awards (DISC0) Funding Opportunity with a scheduled deadline of April 10, 2025.

All other funding opportunities will remain closed until Spring 2025 as CIRM implements new and refined programs that align with the new Strategic Allocation Framework approved by the CIRM Governing Board on September 26, 2024. Applications that were submitted prior to September 26, 2024, and that advanced to GWG or FWG review will be fully processed and are unaffected by this temporary interruption.

Please read the public memo on updates to CIRM Programs.
