Tri-Institutional Stem Cell Retreat

This conference allowed students, postdocs and faculty from UCSF, USC, and UCLA to exchange ideas, critically evaluate data, and initiate collaborations. A keynote address was delivered by Tom Rando from Stanford. In addition, trainees received advice on publishing in the stem cell field from two editors of scientific journals. A poster session was held to allow trainees to receive feedback on their projects. Informal interactions were encouraged in the dining hall and at a karaoke social.
