On March 10, 2011, Yung-Wei Chi, D.O., spoke about a recently launched clinical trial that using a patient’s own stem cells to help prevent amputations due to peripheral arterial disease. Chi is an associate professor of medicine at the UC Davis Vascular Center.
Chi was introduced by Claire Pomeroy, M.D., M.B.A., vice chancellor for Human Health Sciences at UC Davis and dean of the UC Davis School of Medicine. Pomeroy is also a member of the CIRM Governing Board.
