Fat-Derived Stem Cells for Tissue Repair: Michael Longaker – CIRM Science Writer’s Seminar

Michael Longaker, M.D., spoke at the Scientific Writer’s Seminar, a workshop presented on September 17, 2008 at CIRM headquarters in San Francisco. Longaker has a CIRM grant to derive and analyze pluripotent disease specific stem cells that will provide a better understanding of cardiovascular and bone disease.

Longaker is a Deane P. and Louise Mitchell Professor of Surgery and director of Children’s Surgical Research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine.
