Spotlight on HIV/AIDS: John Zaia

John Zaia, M.D., spoke at the “Spotlight on Disease Team Awards: HIV/AIDS,” an educational event presented at the CIRM Governing Board meeting on April 29, 2010. Zaia is the chairman in department of virology and he holds the Aaron D. and Edith Miller Chair for Gene Therapy at the Beckman Research Institute at the City of Hope. Zaia was introduce by Jeff Sheehy, a patient advocate member of the CIRM Governing Board.

The CIRM-hosted event was presented at City of Hope in Duarte, California.
