Spotlight on Macular Degeneration: Seminar by Sharon Hayes

Sharon Hayes spoke at the “Spotlight on Macular Degeneration,” an educational event presented at the CIRM Governing Board Meeting on April 29, 2009. Hayes spoke about being diagnosed with macular degeneration and the impact that the disease has had on her life.

Hayes was introduced by her physician, Carmen Puliafito, M.D., M.B.A. Puliafito is dean of the Keck School of Medicine of USC and a member of the CIRM Governing Board.

The CIRM-hosted event was presented at the University of Southern California in partnership with the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
