Year 3

The UC Davis Translational Human Embryonic Stem Cell Shared Research Facility (TSRF) provides a resource for California investigators and trainees to study human embryonic stem cells in a collaborative environment. The TSRF supports research for investigators and trainees at multiple institutions and provides training to those new to human embryonic stem cell research and those in need of additional guidance. The TSRF includes laboratories for cell culture, flow cytometry and cell sorting, techniques for cellular and molecular analysis of the cells, and unique services and training. Calendar sign-up using a web-based process is available for use of the laboratories and equipment in the facility, and a program administrator and scientific staff ensure efficient operation and ease of access, quality training opportunities, and unique techniques to advance human embryonic stem cell research. Established university-approved recharge rates are established for a variety of high quality services in the TSRF.
