Science Subcommittee

Mission Statement

The Science Subcommittee shall be responsible for considering and recommending policies relating to CIRM’s scientific program. These policies and procedures include requests for applications, scientific and medical scope, the review of applications by the Grants Working Group and the ICOC, the composition of the Grants Working Group and the roles of members and CIRM staff in proposal review. At the discretion of the ICOC or its Chairman, the Science Subcommittee will also consider issues relating to CIRM’s strategic plan.
