Additional agenda item (Government Code section 11125.3(b)): Consideration of motion adopted by the Scientific and Medical Accountability Standards Working Group (Standards Working Group) requesting that the ICOC amend its motion adopting the NAS Guidelines on Human Stem Cell Research to direct the Standards Working Group to convert the Guidelines into regulatory language and make changes necessary to conform the Guidelines to California law and propose this language to the ICOC for its consideration as interim standards at the ICOC’s September 9, 2005 meeting, and to commence the formal rule making process under the Administrative Procedure Act if and after the ICOC adopts this language as its interim standards.
